Recent consumer research by the Heart Foundation (2009), which reflected the attitudes of 800 Australians aged 25 years and over found that 72% of people ate food outside of the home at least once a week, with 8% eating out at least once a day.

The research also showed that 88% of the subjects tried to eat healthy foods most of the time and that 90% of the people believed that food outlets have a social responsibility to offer healthier food choices (1).

73% of the subjects said that they would be influenced to purchase a healthier choice if they could identify the options.

At Corporate Nutrition Melbourne we are true believers that everyone should be able to enjoy eating out, and at the same time, are confident that people who are trying to maintain a healthy eating pattern can still take part in social events which incorporate food and beverages through the availability of healthy food items on menus.

If you are looking to update or revamp your current menus we are able to provide you with suitable alternatives and recipe modification advice which will keep even the toughest gourmet food critics happy.

Through computer based analysis of your recipes, we can provide assistance to help "code" your menu (e.g. low fat, low energy, lactose free, wheat free), enabling patrons to make educated choices. A small step like this can make a big difference in customer satisfaction, and can enhance your menus stand point as a healthy choice for customers.
