Corporate Nutrition Melbourne's Founder and CEO, Kara Landau, is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) and Accredited Nutritionist (AN) with a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics (Monash University, Vic).

With a strong passion for helping others obtain their goals with ease and enjoyment, Kara set out to create both a fun and practical nutrition and health promotion business that sees her clients succeed in their goals. With a strong focus on creating supportive environments and personalizing information to help shape individual knowledge and attitudes, Kara is one to always put in the extra effort to obtain the desired outcomes for her clients.

Having completed both a Certificate 3 and 4 in Fitness, as well as taking part in the Dietitians Association of Australia's continual professional development program, Kara is able to provide well rounded, up to date, evidence based, nutrition and health information.

Having worked extensively with Nutrition Australia, Kara has experience in nutritional health promotion campaigns at a state wide level. Working on projects such as the City of Melbourne's recent ‘Green Light Eat Right' program in the QV food hall, as well as a number of guideline recommendations and policy development projects for The Department of Human Services and The Department of Education, Kara's health promotion knowledge is at the top of her field.

So too has Kara represented a number of the nation's leading corporate health companies in an array of health promotion activities. Having presented to a range of corporate and government employees, Kara presents with the utmost professionalism and enthusiasm, and at all times provides information of the highest credibility.

Holding a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Kara is equally qualified, as she is experienced, at leading your employees to making positive life changes.

Kara currently consults to mygene, training dietitians in the latest nutritional science surrounding weight loss- nutrigenomics; as well as consults to goodness superfoods where she represents the company in media initiatives and manages their online community.  

Alongside all these activities, Kara also runs a private practice in St Kilda, Melbourne, and works with health clubs (such as the South Pacific Health Club (2010 Large Fitness Business of the Year)) showing her personable nature and expertise can be put to good use at both a one on one and at a health promotion level.

Petrina Krelle brings to her work with Corporate Nutrition Melbourne experience in a range of dietetic roles including private consulting, corporate, and aged care work with Melbourne Dietetic Centre.  Petrina has a particular interest in weight management, corporate health programs and improving food services.  Petrina enjoys presenting nutrition information in an engaging, informative way, and working individually with clients to help them reach their nutrition and health goals.

 Belinda Wester has had a lifelong passion in health and wellbeing, with a particular interest in assisting people to be able to easily and comfortably incorporate nutritious foods into their lives. Belinda has had a particular interest in cultural diversity and the impact that this has on people’s food intake. As a result, she has been involved in developing educational resources currently used in various workplaces, including a step-by-step pictorial cookbook.

 Mary-Kate brings to Corporate Nutrition Melbourne her clinical expertise, currently working with adults at the Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, across a range of clinical conditions. Mary-Kate’s current focus in on nutrition and dietetic interventions that aid with respiratory and gastrointestinal disorders. In addition to this, Mary-Kate runs a private practice; here her knowledge is partnered with her caring and compassionate nature to instill confidence in her client’s ability to make the necessary dietary changes to ensure positive health outcomes.

 Heidi Thornton has experience working with a variety of clients in a one on one setting within a private practice environment. Heidi enjoys helping people reach their nutrition goals and embrace a healthy lifestyle. Heidi has a special interest in maternal and child nutrition, and recently travelled to Thailand where she volunteered at a children’s home. Heidi is also a freelance writer with a focus on food, nutrition, cooking and travel. She is very passionate about cooking and loves to share her knowledge on different cuisines with all those that she encounters.
